DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING

Information:
If you’ve never tried SCUBA diving but have always wanted to ‘have a go’ then this is the experience for you. Join us for a day and we we’ll take you in the swimming pool first and then for a real dive in the sea. Whilst you’re in the pool you’ll learn the basics of how all the equipment works and how to dive, then later in the day we’ll put that into action amongst the fish!
SCUBA DIVER
Duration 3 day

Requirements PADI Open Water Manual
Information:
You will need to read the first 3 chapters of the manual and carry out various quizzes and tests in the book. Once you’ve completed that we’ll go over the academic work with you. You’ll spend 3-5 hours in confined water (swimming pool or shallow sea) learning skills you need to dive. In the sea. You’ll do 2 dives in total and will put into practice all you’ve learnt in the pool….and then (hopefully!) you’ll attain the pre-entry level diver qualification.
OPEN WATER DIVER
Duration 4 days
Minimum Age 10 years +

Information:
You will need to read the manual and carry out various quizzes and tests in the book. Once you’ve completed that we’ll go over the academic work with you, plus set you a final exam. You’ll spend 6 – 8 hours in confined water (swimming pool or shallow sea) learning all the skills you need to dive. In the sea. You’ll do 4 dives in total and will put into practice all you’ve learnt in the pool….and then (hopefully!) you’re a qualified diver.
ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER

Information:
Now you’re a diver, and you no doubt already realized there’s a lot more to diving than you first thought! The Advanced Course introduces Open Water Divers to further techniques and skills, all designed to enhance and expand your dive enjoyment and knowledge. You can zoom along on an underwater scooter, watch fish sleep at night, hone your buoyancy or learn the basics of underwater photography to name but a few. There are 5 dives to be done. 2 are ‘core’ dives that you must do – Deep and Navigation, buy you, in consultation with your instructor choose the other 3 to suit you. As with PADI courses you will need to read the manual covering these new skill areas, but will NOT have to take any written tests.
RESCUE DIVER

Information:
The concept of the Rescue Course is to encourage divers to look beyond themselves and their own diving and to start thinking about the welfare and care of others. The course will teach divers the techniques that are vital in preventing problems, and promotes awareness of potential dangers before, during and after a dive. This is a rigorous and rewarding course which requires divers to complete a First Aid course including CPR, how to provide medical assistance and to manage emergencies.

This is the EFR Primary and Secondary Care Course and it covers CPR and First Aid Techniques. This course fulfills the minimum requirement to take the PADI Rescue Diver, Divemaster and Instructor Courses as well as covering the requirement for HSE Appointed First Aider at Work.
Additional Information:
The Emergency First Response Care for Children course is a comprehensive and innovative CPR and First Aid course that teaches you to provide emergency care for injured or ill children or infants. This course is a must for those of you with families. You will discover that it gives you confidence to deal with day to day situations.
MASTER SCUBA DIVER

Requirements PADI Rescue Diver or Junior Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organisation), 5 PADI Speciality Diver Certifications, minimum of 50 logged dives.
